My fiancee got a a letter today saying that her medical examination (form I-693) has expired from when we submitted the I-129F. She did the medical examination for the K1 in June last year. To make things a little more frustrating - they keep sending mail to our old address. We've completed the change of address TWICE and even have confirmation letters. I dont know what is going on.

This process is getting a bit disheartening. First a delay letter saying that there is a backlog and we wouldnt be getting our GC at least until 6 months after we received it (this was in July, so Im thinking no GC until at least January 2016). Now we have this! Im happy for the folks getting their GC who filed in January like we did. Im just not getting what is causing this kind of discrepancy. Some people got theirs in May.

Anyone else get this notice of I-693 expiration? Does she need to make another medical appointment and get vaccination records from her country of origin?

Nothing for us yet. The only thing we've received since we returned our RFE documents was a notice to possibly waive the interview. It's been quiet since then.

We got the potential waiver interview letter back in April with 6 month waiting period. But I checked timelines on uscis website and saw they are already working in January so I submitted an inquire in august 25th and got my green card 3 days ago.
