I mailed everything in on Jan 15th, tracking number says it was delivered on the 17th (a saturday) and we haven't heard anything from them yet :S

Hope to hear something today or tomorrow!

Hope to hear something today or tomorrow!

Anecdotally it looks like it can take 3-4 weeks to hear anything so I really wouldn't be expecting anything just yet. As with anything immigration related, some people's will be processed faster than others so, unfortunately, you just need to be patient.

For example, ours was received on 16th Jan and we haven't heard anything yet. Bet our timelines end up being completely different... ;)

Hello everyone,the USCIS received my I-485 and all others form on 01/25/15!!!!!what is the normal time until they send your first NOA-1 I know they get my package because i received a confirmation from the USPS not by them…that is why i ask?

I got my biometrics appointment letter, dated 16 January. My appointment is 5 February. Luckily I'll be down in the city that day anyway!

5 February 2015: Biometrics

10 February 2015: Evidence filed

19 February 2015: USCIS acknowledged evidence received

3 March 2015: EAD and AP approved! Card ordered!

6 March 2015: USCIS updated: ready for interview scheduling

28 September 2015: Interview - APPROVED!

We mailed out the 485, EAD, and Travel authorization on Jan 2. Got the receipt on Jan 7 and biometrics letter on Jan 9. Did the biometrics on Jan 27. Now just waiting for the next step!

2012-12-27: She visited me - met face to face in LA.

Had my biometrics yesterday, and my case status has changed to a RFE. Probably for our original marriage certificate, as I only sent a photocopy. We will see!
