I got my i90 receipt today! I got a green card with my birthdate reversed after double checking it during my interview, so filed an i90.

It turns out I went to infopass today with the USCIS account created receipt notice, but since it says it's for an i90 and has the case number on it, the immigration officer considered it enough evidence. I now finally have my i-551 stamp! I went to social security right away and soon I'm headed to the DMV :) I can't wait to drive again!!

The i-90 receipt I got today says "Applicant/Petitioner Fee: $0.00" so hopefully USCIS is replacing my GC at no cost.

5 minute interview with the IO. She just asked the things written in the I-485 Form.

It was so fast & she never even looked at the documents and photos that we prepared.

She told us that K1 is an easy case and we need to wait 2 weeks for the GC.

Waiting mode again...

We got our interview waiver letter, dated June 11th. What do you all think? Is this most likely going to mean we don't need to do an interview? Why can't they just say one way or another? :)

In my opinion, it seems like they are just sending these letters to people in order to buy themselves more time. If you read some of the threads in the link below, you will see that lots of people are getting these letters and maybe you will agree. In some cases the interview is still scheduled, in other cases the welcome letter and green card are received.

Yea I agree.
We got the same letter saying we might not need an interview, and it also stated that the back log is about six months :(

What's worse, they sent it to our previous address, even though we submitted an address change (and received confirmation) 3 months ago!?

Not sure what we should do to confirm they have the correct address. Seems weird to me.

Is anybody else waiting on the Seattle office? I haven't heard anything since April, and I have the generic "We are ready to schedule your interview" status on USCIS.
