You just have one lot of biometrics taken, this covers your I485, your EAD and your advanced parole.

Still no i-485 update since my RFE. The case states I should have an answer by the 20th of this month. How much longer should I wait after that?

Checking in again.

Still no combo card. After numerous calls we finally got through to a Level 2 rep. The Level 1 people were frankly useless as they just read to us what we could see on the website. The Level 2 rep confirmed that the card had never been produced or sent and so they contacted the field office to see what the holdup was. Today we got a notification that an officer had been assigned to our inquiry to resend the card. The reps did confirm many times that the work permit/AP was approved. No movement on the green card part but I assume that just takes longer?

Anyway, just wanted to update you guys in case any of you were in this boat as well.

Still no i-485 update since my RFE. The case states I should have an answer by the 20th of this month. How much longer should I wait after that?

my husband's i-485 status is the same. hasn't updated since they received the RFE documentation. it said we should receive an update before April 19th. we haven't heard anything yet.

So, no update on case status for the EAD however the case history did update. Still just says the same approved status though. We're going to call today to see if the card is in production.

I am also January filers too,just wanna know how long did it take to get you guys social security cards in the mail from the day you applied for them. I'm still waiting mine, it's been 2 weeks now since I applied for it.

Another update:

We called a Level 2 rep again who sent a request to the field office for them to expedite our case. Today we got the update that the card was finally being produced. Also, it was discovered that the address on our green card application had been entered into the system incorrectly and that's fixed now.

Hopefully the worst is over!

We applied a month ago for ours. My son's (K2) came in about a week but I had to be manually verified (no idea why) and I'm still waiting.

Hi everyone. I'm new here but checking in. I was hoping to get an interview letter in April assuming average wait time is ~3 months since submitting the AOS package. Well, I did get a letter from USCIS today but it wasn't what I expected. It said that the interview may be waived, but it also said that due to increased workloads, expect to wait 6 MONTHS before your case is completed.

Feeling discouraged... anyone else get this letter???

Also, I"m not sure how to add the timeline to the end of each post. please let me know how to do this too. Thanks.

Hey Everyone,

i just got a text from USCIS. my interview is schedule for June 1st. After doing the happy dance, i realized my husband will be out of the country during that week in UGANDA with a group of people from his job . I called the national service center but the lady wasn't helpful. So i made an infopass appointment for next friday. I know my husband is required to be with me for the interview but I am dreading being rescheduled months in the future. I dont know what will happen now.
