Interview finished! And approved! We had to wait about 45 minutes before we were called in. Just one middle aged African American lady and us in her office. She asked for husbands (USC) birth certificate, mine, and marriage certificate. She looked through our file for quite some time and then asked me my name, address, and parents names. Last thing she asked was i94 and proof of our marriage. We had a pile of pics, some Facebook screenshots car insurance and registration in both of our names as well as our health insurance cards which is from hubby's work. After she got done looking at everything she said I'm going to approve you and your card will be mailed to you within 30 days and that was it. I asked her if I could get a stamp in my passport since my best friend is getting married April 11th and she said sure. She did have to dig out the stamp tho and make the ink pad wet. I'm assuming it's been a while since she last used it. Can't believe we got approved on the spot, I got a stamp, and she didn't ask us ANYTHING! Soooo excited and relieved!

May I ask what is this stamp you refer to?

Also my status still shows fingerprint fee received for the I-485. When do you think I should ideally see some movement on the USCIS website?

The stamp allows u to travel outside the US and re-enter without having the actual green card in your hand. I didn't apply for AP w my EAD and she said I will get the card in 30 days but I'm planning on traveling in 2.5 wks. I had fingerprint fee status for a few weeks and then it just changed to biometrics appointment. Maybe about 2-3 weeks. Be patient. It all depends on ur local office and how busy they are. I got lucky and had interview within 2 months and 9 days which is really really quick! Hope this helps

Did anyone else not get a hardcopy NOA for EAD, and get approved? My EAD shows online that an NOA was sent, and they got my EAD paperwork.

But I only got a paper NOA for my AOS filing. I'm just worried. I'm ready to work and drive!

we received my husband's combo card on 3/18. we got the "mailed" status update on 3/16 and a "delivered" updated on 3/18. the tracking number was included in the "delivered" update - which seemed a bit strange to me. no need to track it if the card had already been delivered. either way - we're happy to have this step out of the way.

now just waiting on AOS news. whenever we sent in our RFE documentation, the "RFE Documentation Received" status update said that we'd receive an update on AOS on or before April 19. So hopefully we'll have some news there within the next month. i'm expecting to receive an "interview waiver letter" since that seems to be the trend for K-1s.
