@SickOfPaperwork Yes, so far so good. :)

In the office I went, they made sure all that had an appointment got in first, then ask us to write our names down, and wrote "WI" in our letters.

Is important not to bring cell phones, any kind of bags, or any electronics.

After getting in line I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. Everything is done really quick.

My total time there however was 1:15. I heard of people being there for over 2 hours, or as quick as 10 minutes.

They ask us nothing about reason to walk in.

You can bring your spouse in too. I went with my wife, one person had a kid and a stroller. Strollers are fine, but all the child's item must be loose and not in a bag.

@vvvlll the exact address I have is: USCIS National Benefits Center P.O box 648003 Lee's Summit, MO 64002

My biometrics appointment was also sent from the same address.

I sent my files to the Chicago physical addresses (3rd floor), because per instructions if you send via priority mail, you should use the physical address.

I sent my AOS application on Jan 26th.

I forgot to include the G1445 forms, but the USPS tracker shows that it was delivered at the Chicago Lockbox on Jan 28th. How long did it take for you to have your checks/mpney orders cashed and receive the receipt notice?

Don't remember exactly, but within the week. Yours should be coming sometime this week, sometimes they take longer. I'd say week 3 if you haven't seen anything, call them.

Hello Everyone!

I've been a quiet reader for quite some time and basically filled out all my paperwork with the help of this forum. (Thank god for the search function!)

Now impatiently awaiting my biometrics appointment.

It has being a week and a half, I was expecting to take 7 days at most, but so far nothing.

NellyandNicky

Make sure your (Nicky) name is on/inside the mailbox.

People reported on this forum that mail was returned if it is not.

And then USCIS will ask you to prove you're there.

Simply put - maybe your name is not there -but mailman knows you get mail.

Another day there is another mailman...

This is real - I had such a problem once upon a time in another country -

and I had to explain to a mailman that in big cities in many countries nobody has a name on the mailbox.

Apartment # is all there is. But cultures differ.

VVVLLL

Thank You!

I noticed after your reply that the slip I put on the mail box after I moved here had been removed.

I put another one with our names in, and report the problem with the post office.

I also contact the USCIS, and they haven't received a return mail yet, and require for me to wait 15 days before they can give me the information by phone. So she asked me to call Wednesday again if I don't receive my mail by then. I hope the mail is late, and I get the letter soon.
