Did you write down your application ID number? You will need this number to retrieve your applicationor you will have to start over.

Quick question, what are you going to do about the medical? The form to get the medical comes in Packet 4 but I don't want to wait for the packet, I want to schedule everything once I complete the DS-160. Would my fiancé be able to get the medical done without it? If anyone knows the answer I would gratefully appreciate a response :)

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

If you check with the embassy of your foreign fiance(e)... the medical timing varies. I read here that UK will accept them up to 12 months in advance for example and I think ours might be the same or several months ahead at least so you can get it done earlier to save time.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Will something need to be presented to the physicians that it is a medical exam for a visa? I know a form comes in packet 4 for the medical but I am not sure if it is something that needs to be signed off on and then presented on the day of the interview. I think for my fiancé's country it has to be less than 30 days from the interview, pretty sure I read that here somewhere. I wish we had the 12 month window! :)

Ds160 dont have nothing to do with madical.

It does, you can't get the medical if you don't pay for the DS-160 once you've completed it online because of the confirmation you print out once the bank updates your account. They won't perform the medical exam without it.

Also, that's strange your security question isn't working. Once I log back in to continue to fill out the application with my fiancé I will let you know if we had any trouble.

No I'm sorry I don't... we're not that far down the track but I have read a couple of comments where people have waited till their case has left NVC and immediately gone for the medical and booked the interview to save time. Hopefully someone who has done it can chip in on this.

Then go to the new page, ultraveldocs.com and do a profil print the page and go to banco popular to pay tge fee and with the recipt from banco popular come back to ultraveldocs.com and finish the process to get an appoinment at vca and at the consulate.

You need 2 confirmation page, one from ds-160 and one from ultraveldocs.
