Hi all,

I'm the recipient of a Diversity Visa, and my Green Card still hasn't arrived. It's been nearly six months since I entered the country. Any advice on how to follow that up?

Thanks,

Billy

Call USCIS or better still make an infopass.

Did you pay your immigrant fee before or after entry? What does your ELIS account say?

Hi Susie, I thought I knew it all, but I keep learning something new everytime.

I'm on the DV and my passport is due tomorrow.

I have paid the $330 for each of the family members during the interview.

In my DS260, I requested my green card to go to my cousin's place in NJ.

What is the ELIS account? Do I need to register for that? Do I need to pay this $165 now in addition?

Thanks for your help.

You need to pay the $165 USCIS immigrant fee per person; instructions will probably be with your passport, else just search online. You will create an elis account to pay the fee. It is supposed to be paid before you enter the US. They won't stop you entering if you haven't, but you won't get your physical green card until the fee has been paid.

They can't send anything to you if you:

1) have not paid the $165 fee

2) have not came to the US.
