Hi everyone,

I need your help please...

We received the NOA1 email and a hard copy last december 21, 2014 and called NVC 1st week of January and got our MNL case #. Can I proceed and schedule a date for medical and interview or do I still need to wait for an email or hard copy from NVC that states the MNL case #?

Thank you all

I am confuse with your post did you mean you got the NOA2 approval e-mail,if you got your case# and MNL# from the NVC you should be able to pay fees online and then send in the requirements to the NVC

here it a link o the nvc website that will explain it more also if you go to the nvc forum part of this website they maybe able to answer your question more as I am at the same stage you are I just fie for the spousa visa instead . I am just surprise that you did not get the NOA2 approval hard copy from USCIS before you was able to get case and MNL number on phone at NVC, not that it is needed to get the numbers from NVC

~Moved from K1 Process to Phil. Regional Forum~

~Instructions/requirements are often embassy-specific at this stage of the process~

(organizer hat off)

Look for Hank's responses in the regional forum, he has very informative and useful links about the Phil. process in his signature block.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

If you did not get your NOA2, did not receive an email even, how do you know USCIS approved your petition? Very curious being you state you have your MNL #.

You have your MNL #? Then it is ROCK n ROLL time!! Follow the flashing arrow below in my signature for details. There is also info for emailing NVC to get your MNL#, this you can use for SLEC.

Hi hank,

USCIS already confirmed that our K1 petition is already approved and that they already sent the documents to NVC for VISA processing... we received the Notice of Action via email and mail (I-797? im not sure tho coz i dont have access to the form yet).... then we called NVC and gave us our MNL case#.

So what we have now is the case# and mnl case #.. WHat confuses me is that NOA2 that they are talking about... or Is there something that we need to received from NVC?

BTW hank, i Wanna thank you for the lINK you made, It really help me A LOOOT.. its very helpful for someone like me :)

So you DID receive notice from USCIS, confusing there for a second. The I-797 Notice Of Action (NOA2) from USCIS, which is not needed again until after you are married.

You only have one case file number, that is the MNL# .

What you should receive from NVC is the letter or email with the MNL #, St. Luke's always wants to see one of these. You can email NVC (info in the link below) to get them to email the case number to you.

Did you follow their format and include the required security information with your email?

I recommend you CALL the NVC. I sent a couple of emails with necessary information but never got a response. I then called and got the Manila case number within 2 minutes of speaking with the NVC rep. I did wait 90 minutes on phone que first though.
