Oath ceremony - wrong info?

I had my interview on December 2 and my oath ceremony on January 8.


someone calls you about your oath and you didn't ask where, when etc?


when was your interview?

my wife finished her interview on Dec 11th , approved and heared nothing since than!

I was told over the phone, by a uscis tier 2 officer, that my oath was scheduled for 1/27/15 @ 9am. I haven't yet received my letter. But, when I look up Phoenix, Arizona Naturalization Ceremony info, it takes me to a courthouse page and has all these listings. http://www.azd.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Naturalization%20Ceremony-Phoenix.pdf

My date isn't on there.

So, was I told the wrong date? Or is my ceremony different and not happening in a court?

You haven't received your letter as yet which is necessary for the ceremony so just wait on it and follow the instructions. Don't jump the gun based on what you were told. The proof is in the letter and you will also be given the place for your oath ceremony.

04/02/2009 - Received SS# in the mail
04/29/2009 - Interviewed. I- 130 approved, I-485 pending IO's review
05/05/2009 - Received NOA2. Welcome letter for Permanent Residency. I-130 and I-485 approved 04/30/2009
05/08/2009 - Touched. I-485 approval letter sent
05/11/2009 - GC received in the mail. Expires 2019
05/11/2009 - Applied to remove restrictions on my SS Card
05/18/2009 - Received unrestricted SS card
10/13/2009 - My darling husband of 2 yrs 5 months 3 weeks 3 days passed away :(

I changed my name (last name) due to marriage. My whole process started 5/27/14 and will end 1/27/15. 8 months total.

You name was change due to marriage so it is your legal name. You don't have to request that it be changed again unless all your documents from USCIS is not in your married name. My green card had my prior name by marriage but I got remarried and sent in a copy of my marriage certificate to show the reason for name change as instructed on the N 400 form. I also wrote my legal name which is my changed name. I did not have to request a name change. You stated that your name was changed by marriage so that is your legal name that is already in the courts. What name does USCIS use in its correspondence to you? Just trying to understand why you would need a name change if your name is already changed by marriage and more than likely you would have submitted proof of the name change.
