Translation services in Bucharest?

Has anyone used a translation service in Bucharest that they would recommend? We used Rev.com to translate the divorce certificate for the I-129f, and they were good, but not cheap. We will need a translation of the birth certificate and police certificate for the consulate interview. We think it might be easier and about the same cost to use a translator in Bucharest. Plus it would be nice to shop local. Thanks for any advice.

Hey Walter!

I am Romanian but not at home at this moment so I kinda need to get in touch with some friends there and help you with infos. But until then I'll say that I am 100% that translation services are widely available in Bucharest and hopefully not that costly as the online service you are using.

Thanks! I was in Bucharest in November and we did much of the paperwork and made copies that we needed while I was there, but didn't take the time to shop around for translation services. We did a little online searching and found there are quite a few.

REV is good and they are easy to use, but expensive.

Looking forward to any info you can pass on from your friends.

Yes, I think we will need to get translations of the birth certificate and the police certificate. She will need to bring these to the embassy for the interview, and I believe she will need english translations of them.

Some friends of mine are using their services and they are fast and reliable.

They have also good prices.

Call them when you want to get further explanation.
