Does anyone know what the Dutch Gymnasium B diploma is called in the U.S.?

If you completed it at approximately age 18 it is "comparable" to a high school diploma here, but probably represents having had a better education than someone with a typical high school diploma would have received in the US.

From a practical point of view you can just tick the High School box on job applications.

I agree it means a bit more but that nuance is unlikely to be important.

Whether a foreign diploma is equivalent to a US diploma hinges on many factors. The two biggest are age of graduation and whether the secondary schooling was at least 4 years.

Here is a good link to a list of countries whose diploma is considered equivalent to a US High school diploma.
