CASE TYPE I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(e) , OR ORPHAN

NOTICE TYPE: Approval notice

SECTION: Husband or wife of u.s citizen, 201(B) ina

The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the (NVC) Department of state national visa center... NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that need consular action. It also determines with consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. NVC then forward the approved petition to the consulate.

The NVC will contact the person for whom you are petitioning(beneficiary) concerning further immigrant visa processing steps.\

If you have any question about visa issuance, please contact the NVC directly. However, please allow at least 92 days before calling the NVC if your beneficiary has not received correspondence from the NVC. The telephone number of the NVC is (603)334 0700

The approval of this visa potions does not in itself grant any immigration status and does not guarantee that the alien beneficiary will subsequently be found to be eligible for a visa, for admission to the Unied States, or the and extension, change , or adjustment of atatus..

THIS FORM IS NOT A VISA NOR MAY IT BE USED IN PLACE OF A VISA. :help:

Congratulations!! Your petition has been approved.

Now your approved petition should be forwarded to the NVC, it may take a few weeks to get there. Once it arrives, it should not stay long, and then will be forwarded to the consulate in the beneficiaries country to schedule an interview.

Good luck with the rest!!

Sandy

I just re-read your post, and I was confused by the forum you posted in.

Your I130 petition was approved - not your I129F.

There will be additional processing at the NVC before it goes on to the consulate.

Please read the "NVC Timesavers Thread" pinned at the top of the NVC forum, as well as the NVC Flowchart in the guides to help familiarize yourself with the process.

Once you have a case number at the NVC which generally takes 2 or more weeks (just keep calling the automated system after a couple of weeks).. after that, your wife (she is the beneficiary right?) can email her choice of agent to the NVC.

It sometimes takes more than a month for the petition to get to the NVC, so don't panic if it takes longer than 2 weeks.

Try to study the flowchart & timesavers thread to make sure you really understand the whole process - it took me several readings to fully get it. Then you can start preparing/gathering the documents you need - Affidavit of Support, Police Certificate, Long Form Birth Certificate with parents' names, DS230, etc.

Good luck & Congrats :)

thanks your so mush... Ok one more thing...

so I was reading the Time Savers for NVC... it say I can e mail NVC telling them to mail everything to me .. not to my wife oversea... a my a little confuse ..

thanks for your help guys..

ok.. so here is what i have to do next...

first wait 2 weeks to get my case number... after that I have to call and find out what is my case number. then, I will sent an Email telling them to send everything to me here in the US .

Personally, I never have received any response from any e-mail sent to NVC???

They will talk to you on the phone and they do have a good automated phone system.

I has taken us one month to receive the form to designate the Agent DS-3032, so I guess you could say the "weakest link" is the mail system.
