A family friend have an immigration situation in CA

and needs a waiver atty...of course I referred Lizz Cannon

or Heather Poole, but they want the person in CA...They

cannot afford Shusterman but they ask about a Michael Cho

anyone have a word on him?...I don't believe in client reviews

If they want a local lawyer then they should check with local immigrant advocacy groups for a name. US congressmen's offices are also a good bet. It depends on the type of waiver. Some are done administratively and some before an IJ. Both require different skill sets. Some of the most marginal lawyers have the sexiest websites and so I agree that the internet isn't the best place to look for a reference.

You are right, I tried to tell them that, I prefer someone saying they

have worked with an atty B4...its an I 601 waiver...its federal so

they could use a good atty I recommended, but I don't know this

person record they found on the web, also one of the answers given to

them was incorrect when they spoke to the office
