Some get CC quicker than 60 days. I just waited much longer than that. Here's my take.

If you call, you will know if they've reviewed your case or not. If you call, you might find out if you got a checklist earlier and be able to respond quickly so you have less time waiting for a CC overall.

If you don't call, you can wait for the information that will come days after they review your case. If you don't call, you could save upwards of 45 minutes on doing something potentially more productive with your day. =)

It's a catch 22 and totally up to you!

Lol!! I like the "you could save upwards of 45 minutes on doing something potentially more productive with your day" part!! Yes you are right. Its a freaking waste of time waiting for 45 mins on hold only to hear the reps to tell us that our case hasn't been reviewed yet. And worst it'll only gives us a bad day and feel sad and helpless.. =(

Haha I was hoping you'd get my humor in that and not find it snarky. It is quite a bit of a helpless feeling, you're right I had such an anxious feeling waiting for them to pick up the phone. There is so much hanging on a decision that you have no control over and have had no part of while waiting. All the heartache, all the decisions that need to happen. Those "Case complete" words can change so much.

I will say that even though my husband will wait 2 months for interview, just having a date changes a lot and it goes very quickly. You're in the thick of it right now, hang in there!

Yes it will keep saying that anywhere from 5-35 times ....just keep hitting redial. redial. redial. Sucks but that's the only option if you want to speak with them.

A trick to know instead of listening to the speel. When it's a going to give you the "all our lines are busy", etc. it goes straight to the message. When someone it is actually going to put you into queue, it rings once, right away then goes into the "push one, etc" Then you know within the first second of the call if it's actually going to go through without having to listen to them talk every time. When it rings once before it answers, DON'T HANG UP!

I had the best luck very early in the morning right at 7 when they open or in the evening after 8. Only redialed a couple of times at those times before they picked up.

Yeah after listening to their nvc

Theme

Song for 45 minutes and a recorded voice telling me to please hold the line and an nvc rep

Telling me my case hasn't been reviewed yet. Ugh!!

GUYS!!!!! I just logged in to check on CEAC & I have an N/A under AoS!!!!!!! Does this possibly mean a CC for me or does it need to be 3 N/As???!?!! I had just checked this morning and there was no N/As omggggggg should I try to call NVC and check on my case??? I know it's peak hours and lines are gonna be busy but I'm so anxious and excited if this means a CC for me!!! I was so worried about a possible checklist!! I can't contain my excitement over this right now!!
