You're kidding - 14 days? That doesn't make any sense, whatsoever. They were a bit ahead before the closures, so it would only be reasonable if they are on target or a few days behind. I'm also at the 60 day tomorrow and I'm hoping for an answer this week regarding a checklist - one that was for small reasons too, like not including blank page 9 or not adding my middle name.

Seriously, I hope this week goes well for everyone.

The rep said "about two weeks", I took the liberty of breaking it down into days (and putting them on my calendar so that I could obsessively check the CEAC status during that window of time). But the NVC rep had the GALL to cite the recent snow AND holidays as the reason for their lateness. As if the holidays were some sort of surprise or something...

Yes, we need a pile of CCs this week, for sure!

Just got off the phone with NVC, luckily was only on hold for 35 mins. ? that was my first time calling since they put the new menu in and felt weird having to listen to it in Spanish as well without having the option of pressing 1 or 2 for everyone who needs the menu in Spanish! Anyway, I have a scan date of Dec. 29th & the lady on the phone said they haven't got to it and they are running 7 days behind cause of the bad weather in February. She also said she hopes they get to it by the end of this week, but to call on Monday or Tuesday next week to check back on it. She was nice when answering me, but it just makes me laugh cause really there aren't many days between the 22nd (which I see they have had some CCs here on visa journey from that date) and the 29th. Main things being Christmas & a weekend. There's probably only 2-3 working days between the dates, but anyway we are getting so close here! Praying for everyone still waiting from mid-early December who are in 70+ days of waiting now! We are so close to the end! Praying for no checklists and a ton of CCs for all us waiting from December this week!!

Also here is hoping we have some updates on Monday...hopefully a wave of good news.

I just spoke with a NVC rep. She didn't mention anything about running behind, but she said that it may just be this week. Scan date is 1/2, so today is the 60 day mark.

I guess some reps are just saying different things and also, a lot could depend on the person processing your case. Assuming they're working on their own case loads, some may just get through the dates faster than others.

Thank you!! This forum reallly helps. We are all comforting and encouraging each other despite we are all so not okay with this waiting game they are doing to us. I cant believe some said 70 and 80 days.. Thats too much!! Today marks my 60th day and im afraid to check bcoz its too early for me to have a bad day.

Just now on my 60th day. Should i call nvc if i

Might be getting a checklist or wait more days?

Same boat...

I called this morning. The rep said sometime this week. They're running a bit behind. But it doesn't hurt to hope that today will be the day.

Some get CC quicker than 60 days. I just waited much longer than that. Here's my take.

If you call, you will know if they've reviewed your case or not. If you call, you might find out if you got a checklist earlier and be able to respond quickly so you have less time waiting for a CC overall.

If you don't call, you can wait for the information that will come days after they review your case. If you don't call, you could save upwards of 45 minutes on doing something potentially more productive with your day. =)

It's a catch 22 and totally up to you!

Last scan date was 12/29 for checklist items. So 63 days for us and still nothing :( praying we all get CC this week

I got the same checklist scan date as your, after being on hold for over an hour only to be told they have touch my files, it take at least 60 days but due to snow blah blah blah

I got the same speech. I am tired of calling for nothing and have decided to just check the page or wait for an email. This process sucks
