The one time I called to ask about my scan date, the lady said "we go by the received date" from the email.

I've seen someone from Spain here who sent his AOS/IV packages, and really took his time to do the 260 list, from what I recall his docs were reviewed within 60 days but he got a checklist because the 260 was not updated in the system when the packages were reviewed.

After spending yesterday on the one waiting for NVC only to find out the phone system is on and no one is there, I called again this morning. I talked to a human and she stated that my case has not been touched yet, but they are currently processing Dec. 10th scan dates or the DS260 date (whichever is last). Was unable to tell me how many days from the 60 that they were behind due to the snow. I shall call again tomorrow!

On a side note, it makes me feel better to know that it might not be a checklist, it just hasn't been processed... trying not to lose hope, but my mind can quickly go crazy thinking of scenarios, none of them being good!

That is interesting that the rep said "Dec 10th scan dates or the DS260 date (whichever is last)" that basically goes against the theory of sending your packages before the IV is invoiced because it makes no time difference in processing/wait time.

Hmmm...I'm going to call them again and try to get my IV bill invoiced. Thanks!

It does. I've heard a few different versions from call centre agents now. Either way, get what you can done, and push for what isn't getting done!

I had my DS261 completed and paid my AOS the day I had my case number, but due to a "glitch", the DS261 changed to incomplete a few weeks out with my AOS still showing as paid. If the DS 261 isn't showing complete, it won't release your IV fee, which holds up your DS260 and (by their book) when you can send in your AOS and IV package(s). I lost weeks due to their "glitch". Finally, someone was helpful enough to manually release my IV fee!

Wow I'm so sorry.

I agree that different agents will tell you different things. I was lucky enough to find a nice rep to review my DS-261 finally. I tried 3 times previously and all of them said there was nothing they could do. Hopefully I'll see my IV invoiced shortly now and will finish the DS-260 asap. I specifically asked Ann (the agent i reached today) and she said the 60 days begins when the packages are both physically scanned in at the center. But who knows! At least something is moving in the right direction for us.

I think you're referring to me? Yes, I did take a long time with the DS-260 not realizing it needed to be done so far in advance. I thought as long as it's submitted before the IV package was reviewed it'd be ok, they'd just review it all at the same time. I know, not too smart looking back.

However, they did review my IV package on its own right on the 60 day mark. I did get a checklist for it saying I need to submit my 260 even though technically it was submitted.

I spoke to a really nice agent and he said everything is reviewed but the 260 which takes between 30-60 days to review. Once it's reviewed I'll be CC. He also said I'd have to make a huge mistake on the 260 for it not to be cleared since you can make changes at the Embassy if need be.

Yes I was referring to you :) Thanks for clarifying. I hope you get a CC way before 30 days.

Congrats to everyone that has gotten their CC. My last scan date for checklist items was 12/31. Getting so close yet still so far away. We are a 7/2013 filer so this wait is killing me.

Hi all December scan dates! Where are we with reviews/case conpletes. We had a few solid 12/11 and looks like there hasn't been another big wave of CCs since just some random December dates through our the week. I wonder what NVC is upto?
