So my husband is here on a J-1 visa, thats supposed to expire on Feb 19. We have gotten his two year waiver taken care of, and sent in the I-485 and the I-130 packets. They arrived at USCIS in Chicago on Sunday. Then we heard from his sponsoring company, that they found out that he has not been completely true to his training plan... and that they are going to report this to the Immigration people and that his SEVIS account will have a visa violation on it... they said that this went thru yesterday (friday). My question is whether this will have any impact on the green card application process, or not since he was still in status when the application was sent? I appreciate any help that you guys can give me. Thanks so much :)

You do not give enough information to comment, it would probably end up suggesting a Lawyer anyway.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
