Care to elaborate?

The Tenth Crusade is a rhetorical device that builds an analogy between the US-led War on Terrorism and the historical Crusades. Critics [who?] of this term claim the analogy is misleading.
Tenth Crusade
In the September 7, 2002 issue of CounterPunch, columnist Alexander Cockburn authored an opinion column titled "The Tenth Crusade" in which he numbered the War on Terrorism to follow nine medieval Crusades between 1095 and 1272, omitting from his count the Alexandrian Crusade of 1365 and the Crusade of Nicopolis of 1396. Cockburn is thus usually credited with coining the term, which is almost exclusively used by critics of the US-led operations.

Feel the 'peace' yet?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

What's truly sad about this thread is 2000 people were slaughtered, and yet not a single ounce of sympathy for the victims.

This thread has nothing to do with sympathy for the victims. Don't go detrolling it....

The horiffic acts of terror and murder were all done in the name of the Islamic god. It's time to put an end to that and all other forms of Islamic terror

good luck with that! i keep asking how you plan to wipe out a religion. why won't anyone answer me?

You keep right on asking that, while the rest of the world is waking up and actually saying out loud who is responsible. That's an important first step. So, how does one stop madmen from murdering in the name of god? Kill them first

The people that are responsible for this heinous crime are dead, sans one lone gun woman who's on the run. Who else is there to blame?

Also of note, you're talking about throwing out due process and going straight to the execution part. Pretty sure that flies in the face of our justice system, or are you taking a page from the extremist's notebook?

wow. if i didn't know better i'd say you're a genius.

pretty sure everyone knows who is responsible. first step check.

second step, kill all who murder in the name of god.

question, do they have to carry out a murder first? or will this be a preemptive inventory of all households sort of thing? start the rooting with a splash of blood over a door frame or something?

You think too much. Kill them first. Quickdraw McDraw.

How does one establish guilt? Do we profile anyone with a hijab on? What about Muslims that go to mosques? Is there a procedure to follow, or are you talking about mass extermination? I think there was a guy a few decades ago who had the same ideas about the Jewish population...
