Dear VJers,

When you guys are preparing your AOS packages to send off to NVC, are you guys putting in the original I-864ez with it? or just a copy of it?

I've been trying to read other posts but wasn't sure, since I've noticed that many people mentioned that you'll need the Original during the interview, so should we keep the original for the interview?

Thanks in advance!

Aos still requires original forms. Documents may be photocopies but the form itself should include all the pages and be original. Make a photocopy for yourself.

I saw a previous post by NLR saying to put NONE, so thank you for that NLR.

Since the new process is to send only copies (with the exception of the I-864 form), we only need to send NVC 1 set of the AOS and 1 set of the IV package right?

thanks!

Yes that's correct. The I-864EZ and supporting documents (photocopies are acceptable for the documents), the IV supporting documents (photocopies only) and 2 passport photos of the beneficiary.

Also on the I-864EZ make sure to put N/A in fields that do not apply and none in ones that do. This is different than the normal I-864 in this regard.

NLR,

there's only 2 questions on the EZ that i'm not sure to put NONE or N/A

5. Social Security (if any)

6. Alien Registration Number (if any)

Should I put NONE on 5? and N/A on 6?

thank again!
