Expedited EAD

Thinking ahead here whilst I await my K1 visa.

Does anyone have any experience with getting an expedited EAD? Or could someone explain to me the conditions for this being successful?

My understanding is that it is largely related to financial hardship- how is this defined?

Job offered while waiting for EAD and you cannot accept it due to not having EAD, or EAD renewal in process qualifies for EAD expedite. Everyone has financial hardship when they initially get here. They do not view that as an excuse to expedite a 90 day process.

Thank you! Ah okay I see what you mean, I read somewhere on VJ that someone had their EAD expedited because their husbands job future was looking uncertain, so this is what I meant by financial hardship being a potential factor.

If you get the como card on an expedite I would imagine it would be easier to get AP?
