Did not receive the interview notice letter

Hey everyone,

I have completed the biometrics on Sep 8 2014, and received my EAC & advance parole combo card on Oct 2,2014. So far I've been waiting for the notice of my interview notice for about 3 months. Today I checked the USCIS website for case status update, and I found that my case shows as below:

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of September 17, 2014, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by October 17, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I am so surprised and worried because I didn't receive any interview notice yet, and it's already two months passed Oct 17,2014! I havn't moved address or anything.

I have sent for the request today, and the request confirmation shows to expect the reply by Jan 29 2015.

My question is:

1. has anyone had this problem of not receiving the notice for this long time?

2. what if I miss the interview date due to them not sending/me receiving the interview date?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone
