Alright, i called and got that straightened out again. Now they say up to 2 more weeks for final approval from a consular officer.

did you get the name of whomever you spoke with? then if your wife gets an unsatisfactory answer, she can request to speak with the person who actually knows something about this

did you get any kind of apology or anything about the money and time wasted on repeated trips to the consulate?

So my wife just flew from Cebu to Manila, went to the Embassy, and was told once again that her Police Certificate is not there. They assured me yesterday that they had it and there would be no more problems when I send her to Manila this time. This game is getting old fast. Time to get on the phone with them again.

Wow I was reading your thread and thought for sure your wife would have had her visa the second time. That really burns me up that they could be so incompetent.

Still waiting for the K3 approval. Received a CR-1 interview date of March 29th.

This is getting ridiculous.

So it has now been 2 weeks since February 7th when I was told the Consular Officer has our case and that we need to wait up to 2 weeks for approval.

I just called to get an update and was told that our case was just given to the Consular Officer yesterday.

After more than a year of waiting she finally received the K3 visa this past Friday March 2nd. She has a CR1 interview scheduled already, but we are not waiting around for them to screw that up like they did the K3. We will just do the adjustment of status later.
