I sent out my Financial Statement for my wifes interview today without the 2006 w2 form basically because I haven't received it yet and I can't wait for it as our interview is only 9 days from now , If I sent the 2004 , and 2005 w2s will this be sufficient? or will I need to send the 2006 also at a later time . I included a 134 for my brother also in case a Co sponsor would be needed he had his 2006 W2

Mark....... from everything that I have heard and been through your 04 and 05 years should be sufficent with paystubs from 06. You just want to show them that your income is steady for those years to be above the 125% that is required by law. If you meet those requirements for 04 and 05 just send the tax copies with paystubs from 06. Many of us are going thru the same with the 06 taxes that haven't been done yet. So don't stress about it and if you make enough money, don't worry about having a co sponsor.....Good Luck

Your last paystub of 2006 is basically your W2s for 2006. Also, I'm sure the consulate understands that most of us don't even receive our W2s until the last day of January (at least I didn't). Our taxes aren't due until April 15th so they do not have to be completed at this time.

I know that each consulate is different too. I e-mailed ours to double check. As long as you make more than what the poverty guidelines state, you should have no problem at all.

Good luck.
