I'm still waiting for my RFE

This is driving me nuts! I'm trying so hard to be patient and wait my turn, and I'm confident I can provide whatever further information they need from me, but... I received my e-mail notification last Thursday night, and now, over a week later, still no RFE. I'm hope-hope-hoping it comes today. Is there generally a long delay between when they send the e-mail and when they send the actual document?

I just want to get the information sent back in, so we can get the show on the road!

During my time of dealing with the service centers and NVC it is about 2 weeks snail mail for all correspondence. Good luck.

You should be receiving it shortly. And the good news is that, usually after you send back whatever information they required from the RFE, you get approved fairly soon.

So, keep thinking positively and you'll soon get your approval.

Haha, almost. I've been going home for lunch every day so I can wait for the mailman.

I'm not too worried -- I know I can provide whatever they're looking for, even if it means I have to resort to begging my family and friends to write notes saying they've met my fiance, and that we were in the same place at the same time.

I just want to knooooow. The suspense is killing me.

It didn't get here today, either.

I'm doing such a bad job of trying to be patient.
