How do I 'do it' without pregnancy?

she will need a prescription, there are no OTC birth control pills that I am aware of. Tmany do not experience serious side effects, please be aware that strokes do happen to women using pills/patches/shots -- my doctors in the US are convinced they were the cause of my stroke.

Oral contraception.. is not OTC..here are many OTC birthcontrol but success rate?? or prevention.. hmmm maybe for your use might be a bit risky of prevention. Other than STROKE.. THERE is a high risk of Blood clot. My daughter age 26 got a rather large DVT (deep vein thrombosis) going from her knee to her bellybutton all from use of oral BC. She almost died from a clot moving to her lung. She is still on coumadin.. for 1 year. rather hard for a NEWLEY Wed to deal with but .. she is alive....

Why would you be concerned with renewal of the prescription? Is it cost? if it is .. go to the PLANNED PARENTHOOD office... which i suggest the two of you do anyhow.

NOT only are there ways differnt options.. it is one way that THE TWO OF YOU WILL TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY JOINTLY.. PLANNED PARENTHOOD

I think this is a very valid question.

Birth control pills are not 100% effective. I know many birth control mommies.

Dunno too much about the birth control injections.

But a vasectomy is also not 100% effective, and of course is not an option if the OP is only temporarily not wanting children.

She (the woman behind the Matako ID) is pulling us all along for her amusement. I'm convinced Capt. Ewok either knows who it is (a regular member using an alternate ID) or he feels we need a little excitement/distraction around here.

But if you look at the responses, she or he is getting what she or he wants. It's up to the individual to choose to not rise to an occassion to look like someone easily led by the nose for amusement's sake. And the fact that it works pretty much every time is proof enough that maybe ppl do need excitement/distraction around here.

However, the topic is a good one for people discussing options
