Its been a real tiring process from the beginning I was expecting the NVC to be quick and the USCIS to be the long one but I have been at the NVC for a while now. After all our documents were submitted and waited 60 days we ended up getting a checklist for just one document which was my wifes NBI Clearance (she is from the Philippines) we had originally sent a local police certifcate which is the wrong one.

Anyhow we ended up sending a photocopy of the NBI clearance and my wife has kept the original for the embassy interview.

Our case is still not complete because we had to wait an extra 60 days TO REVIEW ONE DOCUMENT!!!! ON Jan 19, 2015 ; 60 days should be up. Is there anyway I can get our case reviewed quicker? I am sort of in a rush because I am in the military and I should be getting orders soon to PCS and I'm looking at Jan 19 + estimated month and a half for interview + visa in hand time and this is just assuming everything goes smoothly.

Edit: Last thing is what sense does it make to just send in a photocopy for processing when my wife has the original for her interview anyway? They couldn't just complete our case without it because to me it seems like everytime i call NVC I get conflicting answers and responses but in the end its always "we're still reviewing the case".

Its very frustrating and I anger quick which I try to I understand they're just doing there job but...ugh. being distance marriage is rough I'm sure a lot of you on this board can relate.

The 60 days mishap happened to me too! Sorry to hear! When the 60 days came we called and called and called...that's the only way to be sure if your case is complete.

I've heard you can request an expedite but I have no idea how that process works. Best of luck.
