Hello, I'm new here, but half way through the process.

Does anyone know if you can use assets only for I-864 (house value, bank accounts)? For a household of two, how much do you think they need to see?

I have about $120,000.

Sorry if this is already answered somewhere else! Thanks!

Yes you can use assets only; they need to be "easily liquidated within one year without undue hardship"; that means savings are good, as are rental properties or a second car, but your primary home and car are not usually count. You also need to still show tax filings.

You will need three times the 125% of poverty level, which is about $60'000, so you should be fine.
