Hi, I have several questions I would liked answered, and seeing how new questions are always coming up during this process I need someone who would be willing to adopt me, lol. Basically, my problem is I can no longer post questions here unless I can borrow someone's internet access or get to the library because I only have webtv internet access. Unfortunately, webtv will no longer let me use the post new topic feature on this site. Seem's our browser function is not rated high enough. Anyway, would really appreciate a long time member willing to share info with me every now and then via email. My browser is also why I do not have any timeline posted. Basically, we are going both routes, I-130 and I-129f.

Ok, current question, I recieved an noa2 in december saying case was being forwared to HCMC (vietnam) consular, but my wife has not heard from them yet, what should we do? Also, last week, her and I both recieved a letter for agent of choice. I told my wife to fill her's out selecting me as her agent and she has already sent that in. Mine was different though because it also included a fee request and an AOS i believe. Sorry, don't have it with me at the moment (at library), my question is, should I pay for this now, or wait, also, do i need to fill out the COA form they sent me, or was it sent to me so I could forward it to my wife? I am not sure why they sent us both one. Oh, I think it included a I-184. Do I have to do both the I-184 and the I-134? I know Vietnam accepts the I-134. or is the because I am doing both the K3 and the Cr1.

One more question, sorry, trying to remember all my questions while I have a chance to post them. I read I need to file married this year so I need to file some additional paper work. Can't we just file married filing seperate? Thanks for everything. Dave and Diep, DnD2004 at webtv. net

Dave,

The first thing you can do is get better web access, or visit the library more often and take the information you need for your posts with you. (The latter is probably a good idea anyway, and while you're there look for books on immigration.)

The second thing you can do is to either fill out your timelines or put more information in your posts. For instance, which petition was it that you received the Receipt Notice for in December?

Your I-130 petition has been approved, because that has been sent to the NVC. Your I-129f petition probably has not been approved, because if it had been the I-130 would probably not have been sent to the NVC.

Please confirm whether or not your I-129f petition has been approved - the answers to some of your other questions may depend on that.

You can file married-separate if you wish, but you might save a substantial amount of money by filing married-joint. Run the numbers both ways and see how it works out.
