Hi All,

Hope you all are good !!!

I am writing here with dis heart situation , I came in USA on CR1 green card and need to remove condition .

Now situation is that from very first day my wife is not cooperating with me in any relation . She said on first day that live your life as you want and let me do what I am doing . She spend her time on job and outside , go to outside in morning and come back in late night .

She is not opening bank account with me, not taking any insurance with me , even not taking joint lease in apartment and not interested to submit joined Tax return . I try to give her pocket money but she refused.

I married with her in good faith and we were happy but when she came back to USA after 3 months of marriage she suddenly changed.

I need good advice please and how I can prove good faith ?????????

wow If she will not cooperate I am not sure what you can do. It seems like both of you need to work on your marriage. After looking at your other posts it seems like your marriage was arrange. I know in some country that is the custom, however in America that is not the case ,people here have more freedom and rights, maybe she feels like she was force into a marriage that she did not want.

You just entered the USA this summer, you are no where close to removing the conditions on your green card.

In his previous posts he is asking about divorce and then lift conditions... OP entered the US this summer but seems he is ready to divorce in order to file for ROC.. in that case you don't need your wife for ROC

if he is asking for divorce I think it will be hard for him .If she the American citizen is asking for divorce that might be a little easier for him

I also have heard something like this. If the petitioner divorces its doesn't have much effect. If your wife is the one that doesn't want to cooperate it wont have much effect. If you are the one that wants divorce it will effect you in a big run.

If I divorce her and then apply for ROC so it will not count in misuse of Green Card ????

Because I dont want to misuse it !!

you mean to say if I divorce her then I can remove condition easily ? but how ?

Immigration will ask me why you divorce her then what should I say ::

Should I say she was not helping me to remove my condition ????

I'm not an immigration lawyer. However I heard that statement on some immigration TV show. I cant predict the outcome of the case. I cant be held accountable for anything done wrong with your case. It was just a statement I heard. The removing of conditions time is yet to come.

I am sorry if my reply is not what you want to hear but first thing you say she does not want to leave you maybe she is afraid what will happen if she divorce in a pre arrange marriage. Maybe a prearrange marriage might work in some country but it is not gonna to work here. a girl is just not something you can hand off here .you say she is immature but have you put yourself in her place what will you do? you are force to marry someone in a pre arrange marriage

was the marriage arrange? did you meet her and both of you fell in love? or was it pre determine by your family that the two of you should marry .If it was pre arrange that is where your problem lies. everyone wants to live his or her way here Marriage is about giving not just taking

ROC requires her participation/signature. She needs to understand the importance of it. why is she acting this way? is it because you probably are doing something to her that she doesn't like. counselling perhaps might help and allow 1year9months to pass since your PRC was issued. Now would be a good time to start putting docs. together. when the time comes to remove condition just talk to her.by the way ontarkie dont close this thread lol
