hi all,

i recieved NOA2 on october 20, 2014.

AOS paid on december 9, 2014

IV paid on december 19,2014.

The paralegal i am working with mailed packet 3 around december 11, 2014 and the last time i called NVC on december 30, 2014 they had not recieved it.

We are filling out the DS form online on monday January 5,2015.

The NVC keeps telling me that it will take up to 60 days to review all the paperwork. Is this true?

Can anyone tell me how long would it take for my hubby to get a interview date??

You kinda need to give people a little more than 15 mins to answer, especially on a weekend.

Yes it takes 60 days for the NVC to review anything.

As to how long it takes for interview. There is an interview thread in this subforum and it's owner keeps track of timelines for different embassies and consulates. Some only take a month or two and others take 6+ months to get an interview.

thank you NLR, would it take 2 months for packet 3 and then another 2 months for the ds packet? Can NVC still give an interview date even if they issue a checklist ?

What's Packet 3? Are you saying she sent in the AOS and IV package together? It's 60 days to review if no checklist than you get Case Compete then you are n the queue for Interview scheduling when that happens.

03/18/2014 - SSN card received in the mail

03/17/2014 - USCIS case Immigration fee was received

04/10/2014 - ELIS status changed to Optimized. Checked USCIS case and got "On April 10, 2014, the production of your new card began. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move while this card is being created, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Hi All,hope everyone is well

Just need some opinions.

I mailed packet 3, hopefully NVC should recieve it by next week, i send it out around december 11. Tomorrow i am filling out the ds paperwork online.

Can you guys give me some suggestions on roughly when my husband should get an interview in Albania.
