F-1 Student married to Officer in USAF

Hi everyone!

My husband and I got married very recently on the 23rd of December, 2014 after his graduation from Officer Training School. I am very new to this and it is a lot of information to absorb and a lot of things to do, I don't know where to start and how to go about this, he is currently stationed in Ohio while I originally was attending school in Texas. Since he moved here, I am with him here also because I really...really don't want to spend our initial year(s) of the marriage apart, which also means I won't be attending school this Spring and potentially not until the Fall. What can I do so that I won't get in trouble with immigration? Also, will this affect my husband at all, since I am a foreign national?

I appreciate any help at all.

hello Welcome to the Group. Please have your husband get in touch with his superiors on the base and have him find out what needs to be done. They should be able to advise how this needs to be handled so that you do not end up with immigration. Things need to done right or there could be issues in the future.
