Hi everyone!

My husband, who is a green card holder, filed an I-130 in CSC. 11 July 2014 we received our NOA-1. After 5 months we didn't received NOA-2 (or RFE) :clock: My case status always "Case was received".. My husband called USCIS to find out what is going on with our case, and made a Service Request. On December after e-request we got a letter stating that our case in pending consideration and they are unable to give me a timeframe. Does anyone know what that means? And how long it takes if you received the same letter? Thank's so much for every comments, for helping me :goofy:

Being the spouse of a green card holder you are in a rather long line for a visa. It really doesn't matter when the I130 is approved because you must wait for a visa number to be available. Currently the people from April 2013 are just getting their visas.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Our's NOA2 took 8 months to receive. We sent 3 service requests, a letter to congressman and called there 3 or 4 times. For service requests, we had been getting same generic responses, which pretty much mean nothing but that you have to wait longer. My husband in a US citizen though, situation might be different for you.
