Can't get Income tax return on IRS website

I went to irs website to get my finance tax return for my coming interview K1 visa, but unlucky this website doesn't work...Is there anyone has got the same status with me?

Hi, I have tried for a couple of months to get my tax transscript but always get the message- Wrong address or SSN. I never tried from within the US only from Cambodia so I am taking my last 4 years of 1040s to our upcomming K-1 interview.

I went through this a few months ago. I first tried from outside the US and it didn't work. Then I tried from inside the US and it also didn't work. I ended up having to request the printed version which came in the mail, but that doesn't sound like an option for you

Go to IRS.gov, type tax transcript in the search box. Then select online option. Go through the steps n you should be able to see your entire tax history. Print out the year return n wage and earnings statement for the year you need.

I tried many times, but may be system was be out in this time. My finance in US also could not go through this website.

How about is I am going to have interview with I-134, W2, salary pay-check, bonus, employee letter and form Mortageland tax return.

Because now my finance cant get tax transcritp through error in irs system. We have requested to receive it by mail but we're not sure how long can we get it.

I believe that if you have his employee letter, W-2, 10 recent paystubs and signed affidavit of support it will be enough. On top of that some people take a letter from their bank. If your fiance is self -employed then you most likely need recent tax returns. Good luck on your interview and let us know how it goes

Another workaround to the IRS website not working would be for your fiancé to go to the closest IRS office in person, ask them to print the years that you need, and then have your fiancé scan them to you and you print them out where you are to take to the interview. A little complicated, but you don't have that much time to spare.

The online ordering system for tax transcripts is awful. I managed to order mine on about the eighth attempt. Keep trying, but order a paper copy as backup.

I had a problem with getting a transcript, then I found out you have to type your name EXACTLY as it shows on the tax return, including dots and comas.

I just ordered mine and it went through. I had an issue with my address though, I guess IRS sees my address differently. Idk.

Try again. If you are out of the country it might not work. I couldnt access it when I went to visit my husband.

Hi there,

I got through IRS website yesterdaym It was lucky even I am out of America.

I've got many forms : tax return transcript, form 1040 and W2 ( wage and Tax).

The others form I-134 and others documents are on the way coming to here.

but I am very nervous for coming interview.
