Hi. My husband sent out i-130 at the 24th to Chicago. Got delivered on the 26th and NOA1 text message on the 28th. Got routed to Vermont. Hope we will get approved soon too. Although I think it may take forever because we just handed in an expedite request last week and were about to submit the supporting documents today because he was supposed to get his deployment orders today but they just took him of the roster for the deployment yesterday. So we have to cancel the request and I just hope we won't get put back at the end of the waiting line again...

We filed our I-130 on January 18, 2015 and sent from California to Phoenix via UPS . Got a text on January 21st saying they had received it and we would receive a hard copy in the mail, which on January 27th, we received our NOA-1 hard copy in the mail. It can be confusing because it says, "follow all the instructions carefully", but, then, there aren't any instructions. Only says to check all the personal information and if not correct, then to contact them or if one's is moving or had an address change.

Our petition went to Nebraska - boo!! as I hear it is one of the slower processing service centres. I had been hoping that since my husband (petitioner) lives in California and that is where I will be moving to, that our petition would have gone through the California CS, but apparently, they only review I-129. I wonder why that is??!! I check weekly on the website and shows no action since January 27, 2015 :clock: This is excruciatingly hard on my patience.

oh, well, all will fall in to place with GOD's help!!

Wishing everyone a smooth and successful journey.

Peace..........

I have a question ..

We got notice that Our application is sent to Texas service center but we received NOA1 hard copy from Vermont service center address not from Texas service center . so any idea our application is at Texas or they have moved from Texas to Vermont .

Anybody else got from different address or from same address they got filed at ?

My husband even applied for my inlaws ,they got filed at texas and received NOA1 letter from texas center only . but opposite in my case . So any one knows anything about it ?

10/03/2013 - Got married

21/01/2015 - i-130 sent

23/01/2015 - Received

28/-1/2015- NOA1 email and text ,

Did you actually receive the NOA2 by email or by post? I too filed late Jan, processed by Vermont, and was surprised to see Case Approved on Feb 11 on the USCIS tracking site. I am yet to receive any other written confirmation though.

Vermont is awesome. :)

We filled on January 29 and got NOA2 on February 11. I hope the rest will go just as well.

We got it by post and I think it only took a couple days for it to get here. I wasn't even looking at the website yet as I wan't expecting anything so soon.

I think I'll start calling NVC next week to find out if they got it already.
