I wanted to start fillling out AOS ( I 864) and IV (DS 260). Do i just download them from online or do I have to wait for NVC. I would like to get it ready and send it out. I paid AOS on tuesday so it should be cleared out by next week. I just need the cover sheet for my IV package.

received my welcome letter in the mail today for the NVC.

So they received it July 20 and mailed out to me By Aug 4th.

I only called once to see that they receive, and then just waited. I'm fortunate that I am with my husband and are in no rush to complete this process yet. But I'm glad this step is done,

1-130 Sent (not express): 19/01/2015
1-130 NOA1: 12/02/2015
1-130 NOA2: 06/07/2015 from Nebraska
NVC received : 20/07/2015

Due to employment opportunities, we stalled our process for a bit.

1st scan date: 01/03/2016

Received checklist: 31/31/2016 FOR DOCUMENTS THEY HAD :ranting::ranting::ranting:

2nd date: 04/04/2016

NVC CC: 05/04/2016

Everything. ....AOS n IV fee and packages. ....DS261 and DS260.... are all submitted and now waiting for the CC.... hope I won't get checklist. ......

I'm still waiting for CC as well. NVC received our documents on 8/04/15, so from that date we are counting the 30 days (yes, that is the current wait time). It used to be 60 days so I guess they are improving. Good luck!

ahhh..really?? why it takes so long... really miss my hubby...

nvc received our documents on august 5... so i have to wait until sept 5... hmmm...

nvc received our documents on august 5... so i have to wait until sept 5... hmmm...

Ours took 3 weeks from when we mailed it

No, make sure you send it by some kind of recorded mail

i read we have to submit both AOS & supporting documents in One package. does it mean 1 envelope? or 1 package separate envelopes 1 for aos another 1 for supporting documents.

The document cover sheet nvc sends looks like only 1 envelope for both....I will be submitting documents for wife and stepchild? do I send it on separate packages?thanks
