Did you call USCIS to see if your case has been shipped to the NVC?

Have been calling allllll day and I just got through. First lady said she does have both of my parents cases. Before I could ask her for case number she said she would transfer me to a visa specialist. Crossing my fingers there's at least a case number. I'm happy just to hear that they do have it though. I just want my mom and dad here during my wedding preparations. I hate that Im going to look for my dress next week without her :crying:

I-130 application mailed: 05.01.15

Hi

I filled I-130 for my husband in January 2015. My priority date is Jan 21, 2015 with the Texas service center.

Anyone else in that time zone?

I wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated. It's a relief to get some sort of update from others.

The current processing time on USCIS webpage is 5 months, it says less than 5 months. It's been over 5 months now and I haven't received my approval letter or any update. Anyone else have better luck?

I am getting really anxious as to why its taking so long. Any help/update is greatly appreciated. Any idea as to how fast the files move or anything.

If anyone has earlier priority date than mine, I would really appreciate feedback as to how long it took or when the approval letter came through.Any information in general

Thank You.

PD January 28 @TSC

Still haven't received an approval. Called USCIS today and they explained they are still working on cases from December 2,2015, that's the same date they have been giving me for the past 3 weeks.

I just want my husband here. This process is emotionally draining for the both of us.

We have reached and pasted the "5 month" processing timeframe. If I and other January filers don't get approved soon then I will seriously be worried

Good luck to those January filers who are still waiting for approval. I am so sorry it is taking so long for you all. I know I was nearing my breaking point simply just waiting once I hit that 5 month mark. Every single week from 5 months on, I was checking USCIS like once or twice a day, sometimes more. Like others have suggested, sign up for a login account on USCIS and then setup for Email and Text confirmation and simply try to forget about it. I really hope you all get good news soon. We all deserve to be with our family.

As for me, I am being sent to NVC as we speak. Me and my wife may end up having some problems at the medical or at interview due to outstanding DUI. But I will write a specific thread once we successfully navigate these issues. As of right now; all of our NVC prep documents have been collected and are ready to go. So once I get a case number assigned and pay fees then I will be glad to send that out immediately!
