Hubby just received an email from USCIS that Nebraska Service Center approved our i-130 application yesterday and that they will be mailing the Notice of Approval (NOA2). The USCIS website says the same when we checked our case status. We are so over the moon! Thanks be to God!

Congrats!!!! Don't forget to update your timeline.... Hopefully the rest of us get approvals soon.....

Sorry about that kNatural, my iPad is acting up. Anyways, to answer your question, I am from the Philippines but I have been living in Dubai for the last 11 years. If Hubby and I would reach the consulate part, we will be processing everything from the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

I received an online approval on Thursday, March 12. On Monday, March 16, I received the actual physical Notice of Action 2 letter from the Nebraska Service Center. The letter states that I am approved and that my case is being forwarded to the National Visa Center. My spouse is not from the Philippines by the way. I turned in my I-130 application on January 22. I didn't post anything because my spouse and I have been celebrating ever since.

hello i have a quick question please, i want to know how accurate the suggested approval date that you get when you fill in your time line ?? is it close to be right ? i don't care if its plus or mince one week but i just wanna know, because it says in my timeline that i should expect something between April 16 and may 2, i don't thats how its going to be ???

The timeline dates are an approximation. I understand they are based on data from VJ members who took time to fill out their timelines and are awaiting I-130 approvals for IR\CR-1 at that Service Center. I have read somewhere VJ members are about 1% of all applicants.

As you see, there are a lot of variables. No one knows for certain how service centers deal with workloads, but it's decently close I'd say.

My I-130 was approved within the suggested approval time, give or take a week or so...

So, I just read in a german forum that the CR-1 is currently approved withing 1 year, which seems pretty odd to me..however I really hope that I'll get my Visa approved until August.

25 Euros, i know, it is discouraging at times :(

Our time will come sooner or later, you arent alone in this journey

.

exactly, we are not alone in this journey.

I should stop checking my case on the uscis on a daily basis, hence why I am so impatient lol

That seems to be correct. I was referring to only the I-130 petition's length of time till approval.

The entire CR-1 process still averages about 1 year... I-130 approval + NVC + consular processing + visa Interview = ~12months.
