I was told by a friend to call once a month, but call everyday on the last week.

If you don't mind sharing, what were you asking them when you called once a month? I am thinkning about aclling TSC to check on the status of my petition and see if there are any delays due to the recent flodding events in Texas. Since I am not over the 5 month mark yet I am not sure what I would/should ask them to avoid getting a canned response telling me I need to wait 11 more days to get a straight answer (PD 01/14/15).

Congrats on the approval! :dancing:

So I am confused, I called uscis asking about my status. My PD is jan 16 at NSC. They said they are currently working on November 16, 2014. And to call back in 45-60 days!

I would say that is BS  - all of the recent approvals here have been from NSC - Jan. filers. Never done it myself but I would suggest you try calling again later. Maybe you will get someone else that is a bit more helpful. Good luck.

It is very very standard that USCIS processing times are WAY behind what is seen when you look at Igor's List, which is unfortunate as they will most often not perform any further inquiry or do a service request until you are outside of their reported processing times. I would say call back weekly if you want.

And to everyone still waiting, remember to check your case status online! I never got e notification, and my petition was approved a week ago.

Wishing everyone a speedy approval!

Our 5 months will be up on the 12th of June also at TSC. I called them yesterday and pretty much was told to wait till the 13th and call back. They were unwilling to tell me what dates were being approved and unwilling to tell me anything except it hadn't been 5 months yet. It's quite frustrating, but what choice do we have but play by their rules. I'll be calling again on the 13th.
