Hi everyone,

I am about to submit my petition for K-1 visa and I have a few questions before I do so.

1. Does the future residence for the G-235a need to be somewhere I am currently am hoping to live? because as of now I am with my parents and I plan on moving out soon, now that I have a job. And I recently graduated from college. OR can it be this address where I'm currently situated, because it acts as a permanent residence.

2. When do I present affidavit of support? Which assets count towards this?

3. Does my job need to be involved with the affidavit?

Thank you for your time.

- are you the petitioner? whats important is you put the address wherein you will surely get your mail from USCIS, specially NOA2 which is needed for AOS.

During the beneficiary's interview. Check the I-134 instructions for assets info.

3. Does my job need to be involved with the affidavit?

No. Their only involvement is probably giving you a letter from your employer. This can serve as additional proof of your salary.

G325a doesn't ask for future residence. It asks for the current and previous so if you live with your parents now then that's your present address.

If you are the petitioner and you move before you receive your NOA2, then you will have to fill out an AR-11.

I'm sort of in a similar situation in that I am in college and am staying with my mom till my husband gets here. I just put her address, even though I plan on moving. If you do move, make sure you notify them.
