Regardless - it sounds like you want to hire a Thai nanny for many reasons, one of those reasons is cost. You think that it will be cheaper yes? When in fact, as stated above, you must pay US going rates for a nanny

Good questions here. US law mixed with Thai courts and people with different citizenships including a surrogate should be a bumpy ride.

The main reason is cost only second to control. Thai systems transported to the USA. A poster child for why its so difficult to bring in a nanny at all and luckily impossible from Thailand.

psalyach, looking at your post history, were you ever able to have the CRBA "undone" for the child of your ex-wife? I am not sure if you will face extra scrutiny or not...

Good luck with the twins - as others have suggested, I also think a person already authorized to work in the USA would be the best solution to help you take care of them.

Might be worth looking into the "Au Pair America" program run through AIFS. If she applies with them- you can select her using this site also and then they help with the visa side. Hope that makes sense!

You won't be bringing a nanny to the US on a tourist visa.
