I am so disappointed my number isn't in the list. I feel like dying.

http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/scheduled_appointments.html

I was certain I'd be included, my NOA2 was approved 2 months ago and sent to NVC over 5 weeks now. :(

Good luck to those who have their interview days ready.

Usualky it take 3 or 4 months after approved to get interview date.

my papers arrived to consulate on november 2013 and my interview was on march, 4 moths later after arrive to consulate.

Check if your papers are at rhe consulate.

If you have case number, check status on ceac, if say ready that mean the papers are at the consulate.

3. Pay the application fee of US$265, the equivalent in Dominican pesos at any branch of Banco Popular. This one-time fee covers appointment scheduling, client support, and delivery services.

4. Finally, Return to the website at www.ustraveldocs.com to schedule your appointment to be interviewed, for your K visa, in the Consular Section. Remember to be on time to your visa interview in the Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States, and arrive not earlier than half an hour.

Man, I was hoping for a January interview date as well :(

The US Travel Docs website doesn't give me the option to elect a K1 Visa as a visa type. This is all getting very confusing...

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

No love by doing this you are going to get your interview date

SDO still schedules the interview days. You can't go for the medical without the letter from them with an interview date.

And then, you can schedule your VAC visit.

If you are immigrating to the United States, you need to have a petition approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). See the Immigrant Visa Information page for additional information. This process is handled separately by the Embassy.

Just wait for the letter from the Embassy or check the SDO page for updates.

You'll probably screw yourselves in the process by moving on ahead of schedule.

Where are you getting your information from? If I am wrong, I will gladly be happy to be corrected.

This office has received notification for the processing of a K-1/K-2 nonimmigrant visa for you. In the interest of preparing for your interview with a consular officer, please read carefully the following instructions. Starting in January 2015, all appointments for the Immigrant Visa Unit, applying for a K visa, will need to follow these steps:

1. Fill out the DS-160 (Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application), electronically. Please follow this link https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/, answer all questions. If your children are applying for a visa with you, each one must completely fill out the Form DS-160, on line. You must present the print out of the confirmation page, which contains a series of bar codes, and present this confirmation sheet the day of the interview. We suggest to write down the Application ID displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.
