Hi everyone, I'm just joining today because I recieved our NOA2! :) As exciting this whole processes is, it's also sometimes confusing so I'm hoping to learn from everyone here.

Congrats to everyone working on getting one step closer to the person they love :) I can't wait to hear more about everyones journey.

Mailed off the I-129f on 1/13/15 and saw that it was delivered this morning. It feels good to start the process and now the waiting begins

FYI to all ya'll at CSC, you really shouldn't be complaining about waiting weeks for your NAO2 when the USCIS stated processing time is 5 months for the I-129f. Your timeline on VJ is not a cornerston

Congratulations to all those getting their NOA2's!! That is awesome! I am afraid they may have lost our package and I am getting a little worried about where it maybe. I haven't received anything since the NOA1 on the 7th of Jan. Looks like the California office is pushing through the cases pretty quickly so it makes no sense why ours is not. Hopefully that is not a bad sign.... Does anyone know if the USCIS website updates as the case is worked or does it only reflect the last notice they sent out to you?

Typically if your case gets 'touched' or looked at, the last updated date on the USCIS website will update.

I agree with Chris, typically it does. However I got an RFE in mail on 31st of Jan and was surprised since there was no notification about it and my case status still says: we received your case on December 30th and that haven't been touched since Jan 6th when it appeared on a site. Since you have your NOA1 with the receipt number just always check it at USCIS website. I always check mine everyday and twice a day until it updates from "case was received" to "case was approved"

01-11-2015: Submitted I-129F petition

01-15-2015: USCIS received the package i-129f

01-21-2015: Received notification with receipt no.

01-27-2015: Received hard copy of NOA1

02-02-2015: Approved petition (yay!!! So fast)

02-06-2015: Received hard copy of NOA2

02-18-2015: Assigned MNL case #

03-03-2015: Received hard copy of NVC Letter

03-16-2015: Medical

03-17-2015: Medical result passed!(Thank god)

03-30-2015: Interview (Passed! Thank god)

Just was checking our status on the USCIS site and it says that our case was approved today!!! SO EXCITED! It must have been updated pretty recently because it still only had the NOA1 notice up when I checked earlier this afternoon and I have not received any of the e-mail/text notifications!

Today my fiancé said I need take a break form this forum. It was starting to be unhealthy lol. I was becoming obsessed and filled with anxiety. Tonight was the first night I wasn't going to look at it and boom, I get a text message about our case. We received our NOA2 and my Fiancé is sleeping and puts his phone on silent. He is not a parent as you can tell. I love this forum EEEKKK SO EXCITED!!!

Congratulations!! That is so exciting! :) I can only hope that it is the same for us. And thank you everyone, at least I know the system is supposed to be updated even if it may not always be. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Congrats you guys! This is how the process should work - approved within a few weeks, not like us guys stuck in TSC hell who will wait 7 months+ for just getting the approval...

I think I need to take a break from the forum as well...I wanna be happy for everyone who gets approved quickly but get so angry knowing I will have to wait another half a year at least just because of where my fiance lives...
