Does it say directly on your NOA1 that it's routed or does your receipt number change?

Thanks!

Your receipt number will tell you if it's routed to California (WAC) or Texas (SRC)-you have the same receipt number until your file is forwarded to NVC, wherein you will receive a case number.

We got our confirmation of acceptance on the 5th of January, but have heard nothing since. We were transferred to the California service center. I hope to hear something soon, I see others that filed around the same time are getting the NOA2 already.

If it helps, fix your timeline to get a better estimate. Because you live in Washington, you more than likely weren't transferred between service centers. I know you Mail your petition to Texas, but you never go to the Texas service center. Edit it so that it just says California and you'll get a closer estimate.

It also throws off the data on the forums for those who are actually at Texas.

So great to see these fast NOA2s out of CSC! We're there, with a NOA1 of the 27th. But...just on Friday I realized that in my photocopying frenzy just before sending the packet, I left my fiancé's letter of intent in the copy machine. I'm guessing this means an RFE of some sort is in our future! I'm still somewhat encouraged though that even those seem relatively prompt (I hope!).

You will probably get RFE because of that, most people do, I know of only 1 or 2 exceptional cases that went through without it, I would think just by pure luck.

No one else posted about or got RFE on this thread except for me and we got ours 24 days after NOA1 at CSC.

Thanks! They say you can call NVC after 2 weeks when you get your NOA2, to ask for your case number. I got question on my mind now if you can start inquiring the NVC through email about the case number while waiting for the NOA2 hard copy.

It sounds like you got your RFE within just days of the hard copy NOA1. If we get the same quick response, I'll be thrilled. That would mean sometime this week, as our hardcopy NOA1 arrived yesterday!

Oh yes, that did help. Thank you!! I will keep a close eye on the dates and contact them if nothing is happening soon.
