Congratulations to those who got their NOA-2! That's very exciting! I am in CSC, but still waiting! Gotta have hope! :)

I am so sorry that you're still waiting as we were on the same timeline. :(

I wonder what's the hold up on your case? Is it because of Russia?

Mailed off the I-129f on 1/13/15 and saw that it was delivered this morning. It feels good to start the process and now the waiting begins

FYI to all ya'll at CSC, you really shouldn't be complaining about waiting weeks for your NAO2 when the USCIS stated processing time is 5 months for the I-129f. Your timeline on VJ is not a cornerston

I am so sorry that you're still waiting as we were on the same timeline. :(

I wonder what's the hold up on your case? Is it because of Russia?

I was wondering if political situation had any influence too, but probably not. I saw here on this site a few couples with beneficiary from Russia that were approved in like 2 weeks in January. They could be still checking my fiancé since he had DUIs back n the day (pretty long ago though, more than 7 years ago) or maybe it's the fact that I am currently visiting. I am speculating of course.

Yeah, you're right. My fiancé tells me to stop reading the forum and remember that when we started the process we knew it was going to take time and that we will be approved eventually.

Thank you for support, we all need it right now! I hope everyone who is waiting to reunite with their loved ones is going to see the magical "approved" soon!

So we're checking our mailbox today and see a letter from USCIS with blue paper inside.I knew right away it was RFE. We were worried and excited at the same time to open it. They want a certified record from the court about DUI and a long-form birth certificate or a copy of US passport from my fiance and nothing else! That is such a relief to know they actually looked through the documents and that's all they need. Nothing was updated on the web site of USCIS though, still says it hasn't been touched. Now I know why we weren't approved quickly.

Ksenia, What a relief to finally hear something. Thats good news. Once you send that stuff back it will go quickly for you. I'm hoping I hear something next week about our NOA2 :-)

As soon as you receive your NOA 1 you can check case status online with the receipt number. If you opted for electronic notification it usually takes 5-10 days to receive this.
