FYI to all ya'll at CSC, you really shouldn't be complaining about waiting weeks for your NAO2 when the USCIS stated processing time is 5 months for the I-129f. Your timeline on VJ is not a cornerston

Soooo,

I has been 58 days from my NOA1...

We got RFE only on day 41, and I have mailed it last Thursday, the case status is 'received' since Monday. Why it is taking them so long??? I am so stressed and tired, to tell the truth. Not even mentioning that RFE was for something THEY didn't notice in my petition.

If I hear about another case in CSC that was approved after 2 weeks, I am going to scream...

Anybody else at this level of frustration?

Every single person stuck in the TSC black hole. I see your 60ish days and raise you 89... :protest:

Okay, enough complaining - I feel for you, this process would try the patience of a saint. I am sure they will get back to you within a month. I think you can open a service request if 2 months have elapsed with no progress.

Nope. Not the same. If everybody around you were approved in 2-3 weeks, and you were stuck at 80 days- then yeah...

People who filed after me are having interviews already. I haven't seen my fiancé in 8 months. Our situation is very difficult money- wise, so every day counts. Very very stressful.

If we were able to just live together and wait - who cares..

There is one person here from TSC who filed back in August - September, who has a baby coming in couple of months- see, this situation I really feel for. I think they want the baby be born in the US, so this must be terribly stressful.

But when people just complain about the wait- this is whining.

This is pretty much why I stopped really reading these forums. The temper tantrums are the same that I get from my children.

That is pretty aggravating after I have offered advice. Again, if your RFE is not dealt with in a timely manner, 2 months after them receiving your response, you can open a service request. I think they have to reply to those in 30d.

You can also try involving your state representative, though I do not know what your likelihood of success will be given that you will still be within the official 5 month processing time frame CSC publishes for another 3-ish months.

Hello everyone CONGRATS again to those who had passed and also to those having their visa journey running on smoothly...I'm in the process of preparing our documents while waiting patiently for our NVC case number. I just have one question though:

1.) Year 1994 my company here in the Philippines sent me to a training in Japan for 6 months. My question is do I have to get a police clearance from Japan too although its been long time and only 6 months?

I believe you should get police certificate from Japan if you were over 16 years old at the time. Department of state site http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/types/family/fiance-k-1.html

states for beneficiaries: Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older).

You can also send an e-mail to the embassy and ask, they are quick to reply and very helpful.

I forgot to add. On the web site of Moscow Embassy though it says for k-1: If an applicant has lived abroad for more than one year, a police certificate must also be submitted from the country in which he/she lived.
So it is good if you check with your Embassy or your fellow Philippines filers.

Visa issued and passport in hand! Thank you to everyone who has been very helpful through the process. Fiancee is planning to enter the US in a month in early May...feels so exciting and surreal! Good luck to everyone in the process - I will see you in the AOS forums in a month or so ;)

01.14.2015 USPS confirms delivery to lockbox

01.20.2015 Received NOA1 via text/e-mail

01.26.2015 Received NOA1 paper copy in the mail

02.04.2015 Case was approved on the USCIS website for our NOA2

02.10.2015 Received NOA2 paper copy in the mail

02.17.2015 NVC received the case and assigned the case number!

02.24.2015 CEAC status shows "In Transit"

03.02.2015 Reached embassy in Singapore, status shows "Ready"
