I am curious. I have seen and heard where expedites were happening for 1-129f's from the Philippines. I also thought it didn't matter if they were living in the Philippines or working in another country. I just saw on Igor's list that an 1-129f from the Philippines at the Texas Service Center was approved and was sent in later than mine. I am almost at the two month mark now. I'm assuming then the expedite is only happening for those currently living in the Philippines? Just trying to see if anyone knew anything about this.

It's not yet proven (as much as I know and did my research) many had thought that way, but I guess it depends on the petitioner or beneficiary status. Like if the petitioner had history of multiple divorce then it will take more time for them to investigate or maybe history of any criminal records. Our case where approved in a short time due to no history of marriage or criminal records.

Any case that may contribute to further investigation can always cause a delay. And also it just so happen that speculation arises is that , Philippines seems to have a high number of k1 petition. Just my opinion and base on what I have read from past forums.

So I wanted to send in an update. I'm flying down to Guadalajara tomorrow morning, then we are heading to Ciudad Juarez together, the medical and ASC is Scheduled for March 18th and her Consular interview is on the 19th.

We are really excited that our process is almost finally finished.

I'll update again after I get back from Ciudad Juarez on the 23rd.

Good Luck to everyone on their own journey! :-D

That's right. Our journeys are making progress.

@Jaysinism

Good luck with your up coming interview. keep the fingers crossed for you!

I have a question to those, who made it till the interview

When did you make your medical appointment? After you get your P4 or directly after you paid your visa fee?

I've got my P3, got my CGI and chose interview date. So, I'm debating now what is the next step? :huh:
