In my packet 3, there two paperes, the 1st one tells you that the office is ready to begin the process my fiancee visa case. and the second one with instructions that you need to mail this form back with confirmed page of ds-160, two photos and the scanned first page of the passport.

Every embassy have different process. In philippines we don't have to wait for the packet 3 cause it may never be arrived to the beneficiary. It might be arrived sometimes but the processing are already done. Like medical and interview.

Hello guys I know this is a bit advanced because im just recently approved only last march 4.But I think we have to prepare everything while waiting for this NVC process...

Can you please enlighten me about AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT ? What exactly do we need to prepare for this? I heard we need 3 consecutive years of ITR ? (2013, 2014, 2015 or is it 2012, 2013 and 2014? ) since we only file 2015

or...we only need to submit one latest ITR , 2014 or 2015?

What else do we need to prepare EXCEPT for that ITR?

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!

( By the way im the beneficiary....)

You fiance need to send his/her W2 and ITR (2014) and i-134 make sure he can make the 125% poverty guidelines

hi all

our Petition was approved on Friday, Feb 27th, They have updated the status online for our petition acceptance, on 27th. But we haven't received any email or text message and also we haven't received any hard copy for NAO2. Any idea when should we get any update from USCIS/NVC ? Thanks

We received the hard copy of NOA-2 after 7 days of approval date, but it can take a bit longer. Noone will send you updates at this stage of the process via text or e-mail. You might receive a letter from NVC later, but it will happen when your case will be in the Embassy most likely, since it is snail mail. We waited 2 weeks after NOA-2 date and called NVC and once we got through we received our case number from them. Now I am tracking it through CEAC web site and it already states In Transit, meaning the sent it to my Embassy.

Good luck!

Wait 2weeks after approval and call NVC for your case number. Usually snail mail will come 2-3 weeks , and as mentioned above you've got all the information you needed and started the process before you received your mail sometimes. Either way, snail mail is not that too important since you have the information needed. When we gotten approved (noa2) we didn't receive any email or text too, we just saw it online and from there we waited 2 weeks before we called NVC and got our case number finally.

Hello!

Try to call them up at 06:59 am NVC time because I got connected in less than 3 minutes at that time.

Yes, the beneficiary is allowed to call. You will need to tell them your receipt number and if they have your case number then they will ask for the name and the DOB of petitioner and beneficiary.

Hello everyone.. I have some confusion about NVC stage.. Pls help. Especially FOR PHILIPPINE US EMBASSY:

1. Is the visa application fee of $265 is different from the fee before the interview (which needs to be paid at BPI, idk whats the fee called for)

2. Can the petitioner go with the fiance duringvthe interview? If yes, can i go with my fiance with him actually during the interview and not just wait in the lobby or somewhere else?

3. How long to get an interview schedule as soon as we get our case number? Will it really depends on the avaiable dates?

Thank you for ur help. :)

1. That's the fee required before you can book yourself for an interview, one time payment. And you may want to prepare $245 for medical (yes, not included to 265 fee)

2. I've read that few does and sometimes or usually the consular officer allows it.

3. Well for my case it was like a month after NVC provided our case number is the soonest date that I got. But according to many, the priority date is based on your NOA1. But, they will give you the soonest date you can book and you are free to choose which date you want from the date soonest they give you.

FOR NUMBER 1, YOU MEAN THERES IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE NEEDED TO PAY? Just $265 FOR ALL THESE NVC STUFF? PLUS $245 FOR MEDICAL RIGHT?
