What time are you guys calling the NVC? I have called that 603 number LITERALLY over a hundred times and get the busy message everytime - any recommendations on times or when you got through? Incidentally, If I don't get through what's next? Will they mail the case number? I've also had problems getting their mail =/ Thanks guys!

They're supposed to send you a letter, but based on various posters experiences on VJ, that is hit or miss. I received one for mine case, however it came 2-3 weeks after our case had been sitting in the ready stage at the embassy.

Calling them is painstaking, so perseverance is a must. I always had good luck calling after 6P pst.

Try calling them between 4-7pm EST. You have to be patient. You can use google hangout so you dont get charged. Best of luck to you.

Hello everybody! I'm just so happy today that I can't help sharing it with everybody. After 50 days since NOA1 , finally our CASE WAS APPROVED.

THANK YOU LORD!

(To those who are still waiting hang on there guys...as you can see I think in CSC im the longest wait here...just keep on HOLDIN' and keep on BELIEVIN' )

We got our noa2 last night.

Questions to all..

After noa2 its NVC right?

1, How long will it take for them to get the stuff from uscis?

2. Are they going to send an email for updates?

3. Is The interview schedule would be coming from them after they approved everything?

4. Why do we need to call them? Whats with that calling thing?

Yes after NOA2 they send your case to NVC for processing then NVC sends your case to the Consulate.

It takes about 2-4 weeks for the NVC to process it and send it to the consulate.

About 2 weeks after your NOA2 you can call the NVC to see if they have received your case and assigned you a case number yet.

I called about 3 weeks after NOA2 and they had already sent our case to the consulate.

I received a letter from the Consulate in Ciudad Juarez about a week after I called for the case number and invoice number.

You need to pay the Visa processing fee and set your own interview schedule after the case is received by the consulate.

I also got a letter in the mail from the NVC after I got the letter from the consulate, the letter from the NVC said that they had processed our case and sent it to the consulate but it was ready at the consulate already.

You don't have to call the NVC but you will get your case number much faster so that you can fill out the DS-160 and set your interview appointment.

If the beneficiary is from the Philippines after the NOA2 here the steps you are going to do.

1. Wait for 2 before calling NVC give them a time to received the approval petition from USCIS. When u call them ask if they already received your case and if they had it already ask for the MNL case number.

2.When they gave to u your manila case number, you can start paying the visa at BPI bank and schedule for interview and do the medical at st.lukes no need to wait for the letter from manila embassy. U have a choice if u want to schedule online or by calling the manila embassy but most of the people here from PH they used online for scheduling interview.

$265 print the MRV slip before going to the bank and bring your passport. U can get the MRV slip at Ustraveldocs.com

The $265 is different from medical fee right? Or it goes together with medical and visa fee?

Yup u will see the MRV slip on the link i sent to u. While u were waiuting for the MNL case number from NVC u should start gathering all the documents u need for the interview.
