How did everyone have their foreign fiancé sign all the paper work? Also, how did you get their passport? You have to have originals right?

How did everyone have their foreign fiancé sign all the paper work? Also, how did you get their passport? You have to have originals right?

My fiance was visiting me in December when we began gathering documents. I had him sign all of the paperwork he needed to while he was here in person (G-325A, Fiance Letter of Intent) as they require a 'wet' signature (i.e. not a scan or photocopy). If you do not have this opportunity, have your fiance mail you these items.

We submitted a photocopy of his passport page (the one with his picture and passport number, and the two pages that had his entry stamps to America).

We didn't receive any RFEs.

I mailed my g325a and fiancée letter of intent with my signature plus a photo. Passport copy is not really required for beneficiary not unless the beneficiary who visited the petitioner in US or if they met not in the beneficiary's home country.

So, you're saying that I just need my passport photo, and both our letters of intent? And I can use my signature plus a photo copy of his?

No. Any signature that you submit needs to be a 'wet' signature, meaning you can't use photocopies or scans. It has to be ink from a pen.

Alright I will revise this to you, I sent an original document with my "wet" signature by snail mail not the electronic one and to make less of his work I included my passport size photo. I hope this is more clear to you.

This is upsetting....

After waiting for 35 days I finally called USCIS to inquire about the case. Guess what? Today they informed me that they mailed RFE in February 6??? I have never received it obviously. Now I need to make sure they have the correct address. I called them again, and the agent I spoke to obviously sees the same info as I do online, and the case is still not updated (untouched since Feb 4...).

Somehow I highly doubt they mailed the RFE. I got NOA1 fine at the address I provided, which is my work address and there is no way it could disappear in the mail...

I went online and updated the address to the same one.

Another question- why RFE??? I checked all others RFEs requests posted here, and I have submitted absolutely everything and then some. Did anybody got RFE for something they actually submitted?

I am so upset... I think they are making it up. The case is not updated, I didn't get anything.

On the other hand, if they did mail in to the wrong address a MONTH ago- damn.... so upset. My fiance and I are in a very complicated situation with money and living arrangements and every day counts. We haven't seen each other in 8 months...

I am about to cry...

Question- are they going to mail it again? The letter states that they will as a courtesy...

What bastards. I have read here that they are known to close the case if they do not receive the response to the RFE... But if I waited, as was advised here, I could have missed the date to response!

How in the world I would have known!!!

Sooo to all of you who are waiting for no reason and getting advise (oh, it has been only 32 days, wait longer... The official time is 5 month.... Or some mean people from TSC tell you to stop complaining)- DO NOT stop pushing. I am sure glad I did...

A "wet" signature is not necessarily true but it could be different for each service center. All of the signatures that I sent in my packet were all scans or photocopies from my Fiance, the only wet signature that was in my packet was my signature in ink on my I-129F application I am the petitioner and we did not receive any RFE's. Maybe we just got lucky though.
